There are several ways products can qualify for the Compact by Design program. Some products, for instance, can block sweat and go on clear. Others respond quickly to help control odor. Some target the bacteria that cause odor, while others use Protectate technology to neutralize odor. These products can also protect against odor for up to 72 hours and against wetness for up to 48 hours.

The Compact by Design initiative aims to encourage manufacturers to optimize their product designs, leading to substantial environmental benefits. By reducing the amount of materials and space required, these products can be transported more efficiently, decreasing the carbon footprint associated with their distribution.
